Upset Customers Are an Opportunity to Improve Your Business. We all hate upset customers. There is nothing fun about having to deal with them. The key to handling upset customers is to listen to what they are upset about and then deal with the issue. First, they need to be heard.
Once you hear what is needed, deal with the issue immediately. But there is one more step that needs to happen. You need to learn from the situation and put in place the process to resolve for the future. It might be a broken process, an employee issue or even how you empower your team. The key is to peel it back and address to prevent in the future.
